We have a dog emergency. Can you help?
“Bernie” is a rescued Yorkie. He needs immediate medical care, possibly surgery. Our vet estimates he needs $800 to treat a urinary tract obstruction.
I’m in a hurry now. So I’ll give more details later.
Right now, we’re afraid we will lose our beloved friend. Just as out benefits have been cut...

Bernie is doing fantastic! We are so freaking relieved. He is my wife Kimmie's love. But I love him too.
He had both kidney stones & an enlarged prostate. A catheter and a snip to his... Um, equipment... And he is out of danger and pain.

Bernie is home! He was supposed to be hospitalized, but in the end our vet was able to fit him in.
He has kidney stones AND a swollen prostate. $800 later... I believe he will be with us for some years!
Kimmie was beside herself. Won't admit but... Well. Daymares tell a different story.
We have received enough from you all to cover his operations, medications and x-rays... And I believe follow up treatment.

What a crazy day!
Bernie is home resting. Strange story. Kimmie got Bernie as a kind of rescue dog. He was a breeding stud who well... had passed his prime for making baby Yorkies. It can be hard to find a home for a working dog. But Kimmie fell in love... Um, after today he won't be concerned with baby Yorkies any more.
I'm pretty sure there are some folks who I don't know about. Because all of us were beating the the bushes to save him.
